Frank Wallace wins at Manor Farm Leisure

Jubilee members met up at Manor Farm Leisure for the latest club match, this time held on the Middle pool.

After the recent heavy rain during the week and temperatures dropping with the change in the weather as we head into October the fishing was very poor and all members struggled for bites with half the members fishing failing to trouble the scales man and only two anglers getting into double figures when weighing in. Frank Wallace on peg 2 followed up his win on the last club match at Manor Farm in the Summer, catching and few F1’s and Carp plus a few silvers to win the match with 17lb 6oz and the only other angler breaking double figures was Chris Taylor at the opposite end of the pool on peg 21 who weighed in an F1 a few silver plus a bonus Carp for 12lb 12oz. Rick Liddle who caught a couple of F1’s and a carp late into the last hour claimed 3rd place with 8lb 14oz and section winners were Bob Evans 7lb 8oz and Phil Seedhouse 6lb 8oz.
