Evesham Jubilee members fished the latest club match on Jenny’s pool at Tunnel Barn Farm on a horrendous day weather wise with rain and strong winds throughout the match. Numbers fishing were down due to the weather forecast but 8 brave soles sat it out for the full 5 hours of the match. Unfortunealtly for some several pole sections and tackle didn’t make the journey home. But Bob Evans took advantage of a bit of shelter on peg 26 to win the match easily, placing 66lb 1oz on the scales for the win. Richard Ford on peg 8 at the other end of the pool braved out the wind blowing up that end to come 2nd with 44lb 8oz. 3rd was Frank Wallace claiming the last money place from peg 19 with 34lb 13oz.

Well done to everyone who fished for the full 5 hours and not going home for an early bath !!

Jubilee members fished their last club match of the year on High pool at Tunnel Barn Farm where Bob Evans won the match from peg 20 placing 50lb 9oz on the scales. 2nd was Martin Smith on peg 40 was 2nd with 28lb 7oz and 3rd was Chris Taylor on peg 48 with 26lb 8oz.

Section winners were Steve Dobbs from peg 50 with 26lb 2oz and Richard Ford, peg 25 with 22lb 4oz.

Jubilee members fished the latest club on the New pool at Tunnel Barn Farm. Sport was patchy but most members caught fish. Richard Ford drawn on 38 was the match winner placing 27lb 3oz on the scales. 2nd was Phil Seedhouse on peg 14 who was only just behind weighing in 25lb 12oz. Nigel Cox, peg 6 was 3rd with 22lb 2oz and 4th was Paul Cox from peg 25 with 21lb 2oz.

Section winners were Ron Evans peg 1 with 17lb 2oz and Frank Wallace on peg 44 with 9lb 12oz

16 Evesham Jubilee members travelled up to Tunnel Barn Farm to fish the latest club match on the house pool. All members caught fish and enjoyed the day on a fine summers day with the top four and two sections being paid out.

Bob Evans was todays winner tipping 89lb 4oz on the scales from peg 4. John Cox on peg 2 was 2nd with 64lb 2oz. Frank Wallace was 3rd on peg 21 with 63lb 10oz and Alan Gardner was 4th on peg 13 with 58lb 8oz.

Sections winners were Phil Seedhouse on peg 19 with 57lb 11oz and Chris Taylor on peg 22 with 41lb 14oz.

14 Jubilee members travelled to the latest club match at Tunnel Barn Farm fishing on the Extension pool. Weather wise the day was dry and bright with a slightly cooling breeze on the pool with some members sat in the shade all day while others enjoyed a bit of mid April Sun! As always the money prizes were split around with the top 5 places and 3 sections all winning cash prizes.

The fishing was patchy for all but everyone caught fish and enjoyed the day. 1st placed was James Gardner who put together an excellent bag of F1’s and Carp to weigh in 72lb 9oz. 2nd on the day was Phil Seedhouse with 57lb 10oz. 3rd was Bob Evans 37lb 12oz, 4th Chris Taylor 36lb 5oz and 5th was Steve Dobbs 34lb 10oz. Section winners were Martin Smith 30lb 9oz, Frank Wallace 30lb 2oz and Nigel Cox 23lb 11oz.
