During the summer months of 2024 and now well into the winter, a few hard working dedicated Jubilee members have been working extremely hard behind the scenes, giving up their spare time and putting many hours in, clearing overgrown trees and brambles and installing brand new fishing platforms on one of the two fishing pools the club has acquired in preparation for these new fishing pools at Libbery nr Upton Snodsbury to be the clubs new home waters and available for members to pleasure fish and for the club to hold club matches in the future.

The first pool has seen 14 new fishing platforms installed and these will be ready to fish in early 2025 and then work will begin on the second pool which will give an additional 22 pegs.

Special thanks must go to Jim Gurney and Rob Holloway who have spent ‘All Summer and counting’ at the pools doing the bulk of the heavy work on the first of the two new pools installing the new fishing platforms, cutting down trees and clearing branches/snags from the water and making good the banks. They are a real credit to the club and have also been assisited by Bob and Pat Evans, Alan and James Gardner and Richard Ford. Well done to all. But there is still plenty of work still to be done and if you can help out with a few hours help it would be gratefully appreciated.

Well done Jim, Rob, Bob, Pat, Alan, James and Richard you are a credit to the club
